Late as usual, however...
The ACLU gets a bad rep, and it deserves every bit of it. In fact, were it not for it's defense of eminent domain abuse, I would have little good to say about it. Although, there are several other defense organizations that can do the job of defending eminent domain abuse, possibly even better.
