"He's just having fun."

"All I wanted to do was go out and enjoy it." said Steve Aponavicius, walk-on kicker for Boston College. And enjoy it he did. He went 2 for 2 in FGs hitting from 36 and 20-yards, along with 2 PATs to help BC beat Virginia Tech 22-3.

Now, why am I writing about this?

"But Aponavicius made two PATs and field goals from 36 and 20 yards out, getting mobbed by his teammates each time and cheered by a crowd that included Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie."

If you watched the game, it was an incredible sight. Aponavicius was high-fived and hugged every time he made the play. His proud parents receiving hugs from fellow BC fans. He enjoyed the moment.

I could go into a diatribe on why we should enjoy our moments more. But, alas, I think we're supposed to know that. Right?

You are right. We should know to enjoy every moment. They are precious!
