The Words of Children

Matthew 21
The children were shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" The Pharisees were angry. Not only angry, but frustrated. They had tried and tried again to slam Jesus into the ground. They tried to shut Him up. Now the children were praising Jesus and they couldn't be stopped. God in the flesh was very pleased.

Children openly praising the Christ. They weren't prodded to praise Him. No, they wanted to freely acknowledge the one true King.

At our church's annual greening service, our 4-year old son proclaimed out loud after a hymn, "That rocked!" We were laughing along with the people around us. How wonderful the words of a child!

Can a Christmas hymn rock? You bet it can! For those who praise the Son of David, our hearts must be like little children who openly worship Him.
